8 Baby Registry Items for Bath Time

When I was creating my baby registry I got so distracted with all of the cute clothes, books, and toys that I completely forgot about bath time! Baby hygiene is pretty important so don’t forget to add these 8 items to your registry.

*This post may contain affiliate links, but every link leads you to products that I have used and love! Read the full disclosure here.*

The Basics:
1. Wash Cloths– I love the fun colors and these ones even come with a soft bath toy!
2. Towels -The animal hooded ones help the towel stay on the baby and keeps them warm, and the animal ones are so fun!
3. Shampoo– I like to buy the bundles because it’s cheaper in the long run and it’s nice to have a full set on hand.
For Infants:
4.Infant Tub -This one worked great until our son was big enough for the kitchen sink, and then later the big tub.
For Toddlers:
5. Toys– These little turtles are adorable! They are perfect size for my baby to grab and they float. Read this post on how to prevent mold in baby toys.
6. Spout Cover– I was a little hesitant at first to buy this, but I’m so glad that I did once my baby was big enough to be in the big tub. He slides and bangs his head on the water spout often and this protects him from any harm.
7.Color Tablets– these tablets safely change the water color with no risk of staining the tub.
8. Bubble Bath– What kid ( and adult) doesn’t love a bubble bath!

Bath time isn’t too complicated, but this short list of items has made it a lot easier and tons of fun!

My kiddos love taking a bath and these items are great! We also like the cup that goes flat against the forehead so that we can rinse the soap out without getting anything in their eyes!

I was just at a baby shower and pretty much tried to include everything that was on that list except for the bubble bath. I was initially going to give a bubble bath set to the mom to be so she could pamper herself. 🙂

    great list.

So helpful for my friend having a baby. I was stuck on what to get as I have no clue since I’m not a mom but these sound like something I can finally pick up without feeling like such a bad friend for not picking something right.

What a great list! It can be hard to know what’s needed with a first born.

Great information on resources for small children and infant bath time. Cousin just had a baby she could use many of these items.

I totally agree with the hooded towels and the bath bubbles. Bunny loves her two hooded towels so much (one is designed as a crab while the other has a super girl design).

These are all great items to have on a registry. The one thing I never received was the water spout cover, I still need to buy it myself.

I was a little obssessive compulsive when the twins arrived especially when it came to hygiene. I think this is a pretty complete list! You nailed everything that parents need to have.

Spout covers are so handy! I bought one for both of my boys because they both hit their heads on the metal spouts.

Yes! The metal spouts are dangerous so I was grateful when a friend told me about the spout cover!

These are absolutely amazing things to have on your registry. I think I was all over the place when it came to my registry. I wanted everything and then was like oh no, we barely need half of this stuff.

I did the same thing! I bought pretty much every item known to mankind and then didn’t take most of it out of the package! These 8 items for bath time were ones I was glad I had though.

It is so important to give them a healthy and hygenic bath as well as keeping them engaged at the same time. These are some great tips.

I fully agree. No one likes a smelly baby and they are more likely to get sick when their hygiene needs are not met. Taking care of a baby’s hygiene should be a priority!

These were all things I used often when my kids were younger. And even though I’m not buying faucet guards anymore, now that they’re older, they both STILL love a bubble bath!

And really, who could blame them?

I don’t think baby registries were quite the thing here until recently but it’s a great idea. And you’re right, that spout cover is a great idea.
